Relief for Tattered Tootsies Kit($23) is a 3-step foot treatment that sloughs, buffs and moisturizes with skin renewing botanicals and lemongrass for instant relief. This kit is better then a spa treatment! After being on your feet all day, nothing is better then a nice warm bath, and this foot treatment. The bag is also adorable, makes for a great makeup bag once your products are gone.

Get Fresh sells products by fragrance, which was my favorite feature on their site. You can choose from black currant, grapefruit, starfruit, lemongrass, orange blossom or white fleurs. Grapefruit, however is one of my favorite fragrances of all time, so I couldn't resist!

The Grapefruit Hydrating Body Butter ($27) is jam-packed with an exotic mix of antioxidants, botanicals, multivitamins, and tropical nut oils. This whipped creme wonder absorbs quickly, is never greasy, and leaves your skin supple and noticeably softer. I love the delicious smell of grapefruit, and this lotion really delivers. The scent is long lasting, and will keep your skin moisturized through out the day.

The first step is the Mineral Body Scrub. Apply it on, works like an exfoliator, and then wash it off to get rid of all that yucky dead skin on your body.


The 2nd step was the Mineral body mask I've never actually used a body mask, it was quite interesting. It's like a face mask but all over your body! So I let that sit for about 15 minutes, and then washed off. The Result? My Skin was soft and smooth, just like your mud face mask!

And the 3rd step is a Rich Body Creme Doesn't feel like a regular lotion, it's a little bit thinner, but I actually liked that because it went on smooth and soft.

As a runner and a person who is always on their feet, I often suffer from foot discomfort. My feet have to be cared for on a daily basis or it is just bad news. The only problem is, "what product really works?" I have found the solution, it is called "Get Fresh FEET." Get Fresh is an impressive brand that has a variety of products for the feet that really work. I have tried tones of products to keep my feet in tip top shape and I was just disappointed with the results.
Below are the products I have tried and would recommend

Relief For Tattered Tootsies

This is a 3 step at home foot treatment that sloughs, buffs, and moisturizes the skin for instant relief. With a light scent of lemongrass.
Kit includes:
STEP ONE Totally Soaked is a softening foot gel that dissolves dead skin.
STEP TWO Down n' Dirty is a heavy duty pumice foot scrub for intense results.
STEP THREE Rescue ME is a foot repair cream with shea butter, aloe vera, and alpha hydroxy fruit acids.

Poor Soles "Foot Moisture Stick"
Poor soles is a portable moisture stick with she butter and aloe vera. The stick is good for any area that needs extra moisture such as knees, elbow, and feet.

Knock Your Sock Off "Deodorizing Foot Spray"
The foot spray is refreshing and energizing and at the same time eliminates odor.

Self-tanning is the method of adding colour these days.  Every time I watch The Hills, I hear Stephanie Pratt mention something about her spray tan or her spray tanning machine, and it reminds me that even if you’re in a warmer climate, you don’t sit outside and bake in the sun.

But if you’re self-tanning, then you need to make sure that you’re taking care of your skin before-hand.  That means exfoliating and making sure that it’s moisturized at all times.

There are tons of products out there that can help you do this, but I just got introduced to Get Fresh. Get Fresh is a spa bath and body line and it features tons of yummy-scented products. You can pick them up at many salons and spas and now that they’re on my radar, I’ve been noticing them way more!

Their Sugar Body Scrub in the Grapefruit flavour is one of the best I’ve ever used, and ever since I had a professional body scrub done, I use it the way a spa would. I emulsify the scrub with some water in my hand, and then rub it on dry (not wet!) skin. The sugar does take longer to dissolve, but that means that you get more exfoliating, and the overall result is smoother skin than ever before. This particular scrub actually is soft enough for you to use it this way.

I did notice that using the scrub this way made it last a lot longer, and given that I was exfoliating a couple of times a week, I was able to make this scrub last for about a month!

I haven’t had a chance to review Get Fresh’s amazing body care products on Bionic Beauty yet, but I have their Paris body lotion, Relief for Tattered Tootsies foot care pack, and their Look Better Naked body care pack (which contains the Mineral Body Mask in Grapefruit, pictured below… it’s sooooo soothing on my skin!). It’s rare that a body care product makes me swoon, but I’m in love!

I seriously don't know how I haven't purchased Get Fresh stuff before.  Maybe because I've never seen any of their items in store so I didn't know what I was missing. Well, I am so thrilled to have been introduced because their stuff is absolutely amazing and with Mother's Day right around the corner I have got my presents all sorted out (sweet!).  Relief for Tattered Tootsies is an adorable feet-saving collection that comes packaged in the cutest little cosmetic bag (absolute sucker for packaging).  The set comes with Softening Foot Gel, Down and Dirty Foot Scrub, Intensive Foot Repair Creme and a pumice stone.  I love, love this kit.  All the products are incredible - smell deliciously of lemongrass, really have improved the look and feel of my feet (just in time for sandal weather) and even though the containers are on the small side, they will last a while because you don't need to use a whole lot.  For $23.00, this kit is a great gift (for Mom or yourself - your call really)

Another awesome gift for Mom is the Look Better Naked set which comes in Black Current, Lemongrass, Grapefruit and Starfruit.  The set comes with full size containers of Mineral Body Scrub, Mineral Body Mask and Rich Body Creme and comes packaged in this cute terrycloth, plastic-lined, cosmetic bag.  The Mineral Body Scrub is seriously amazing.  Containing dead salts, it's a gentle scrub that almost melts into skin when you're in the shower leaving behind an amazing scent (lemongrass is my fave).  After scrubbing use the Mineral Body Mask for a ten minute hydration boost and then end with the Body Creme which is Incredibly moisturizing, not greasy and I love the light lemongrass scent. 

And with any shopping excursion it's always important to buy something for yourself, as well.  I am a huge fan of their Nourishing Hand Creme (Grapefruit is an uplifting but not overpowering scent).  The creme sinks in immediately, smells fantastic, really hydrates and the $17.00 tube is a big one that will last a long time.  But think bedside for the 4 oz tube because it is too large for a purse.  The travel sizes, however, would be perfect for on-the-go and at $4.00 are extremely budget-friendly (and you could own the whole set at that price).

All of Get Fresh's products are free of parabens, synthetic dyes or sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates.  Also, a big bonus with this company, you can sample any products for only a $1.25 handling fee.  Gotta love that!

It was unanimous that Get Fresh was the place to find the Best Body Products! We are loving the everything about this brand right down to the sophisticated packaging. Their entire collection would make wonderful gifts. They offer a huge product range from body washes to bags to fragrances. We really loved the body masks. It's detoxifying treatment that is made from dead sea clay and minerals. When applied it draws out the impurities from your skin and leaves it feeling super soft. The Grapefruit scent was our favorite and once we saw the results....we just couldn't wait to use it on our whole body. Goodbye scaly legs! Also completely worthy of your shower is the Creamy Body Wash. It will drench your skin in a moisture rich lather that will make you wonder if it is a wash or a lotion. It definitely worked wonders when used as a shaving cream and left my legs without any annoying red bumps. Lastly we had the pleasure of trying out the Body Scrubs. They were divine! A combination of dead sea salts and hydrating botanicals do an gentle but effective job of smoothing away dry, rough skin. The exfoliating process leaves your skin moisturized instead of scaly and thirsty. If the other products available from Get Fresh are even close to the great quality of the ones we tried out - they are all something I would like to own.
